This workshop is a joint effort between EERA Joint Programs Energy tranSition for Sustainable Society (e3s)  and Energy Systems Integration (ESI) with a focus on to design a sustainable framework for digitalization in a low-carbon future society.

Preliminary programme:

Morning Session (led by EERA E3S)

The morning session aims to address three key topics: i) Identifying critical social, behavioral, and cultural challenges in leveraging digital technologies for the clean energy transition; ii) exploring practical drivers—such as public engagement, policy incentives, and trust—to foster the adoption of digital solutions, iii) utilizing social science insights to enhance digitalisation's inclusivity and social acceptance in the energy transition.

Afternoon Session (led by EERA ESI)

The afternoon session has a focus on integration of digitalization and the energy sector, the required market design and regulatory framework with a focus also on sector integration.
