Hosted at the Pozar Energy Institute, Zagreb, these sessions will bring together experts and researchers to discuss the current landscape and future directions. On the last day, EERA JP ESI will hold its Second Steering Comittee Meeting of the year.

PROGRAM AND SPEAKERS TO BE CONFIRMED: This workshop will examine the current state and challenges of energy transition policies in Southeastern Europe. Sessions will include:
Policy & Implementation Challenges: Why are the National Energy and Climate Plans (NECPs) not being fully implemented? What are the key obstacles beyond budget constraints?
Energy Transition Policy & Grid Integration: What concrete opportunities exist in terms of renewable energy sources (RES) policy and grid development?
Research & Funding: What are the current knowledge gaps? Where is research funding most needed?
PROGRAM AND SPEAKERS TO BE CONFIRMED: This session will explore the interdependencies between industrial decarbonization and energy infrastructure development, with morning speakers followed by interactive panels or round-table discussions in the afternoon.

Analysis of the Clean Industrial Deal by an expert from Brussels
The evolving role of hydrogen in European industry: costs, applications, and necessary actions
